The Amec TB-520 AIS Beacon from AMEC is our recommended beacon for use when out on the ocean.
With the aid of AIS technology, the beacon will be able to send out distress signals and your GPS location to nearby vessels and coast guards. When it detects that you are in the water, it will automatically activate, or you can manually activate it by pulling and releasing the antenna. To ensure accessibility and safety, it can easily be attached to your life jacket.
